Elevator Rope Anchorages, EN 13411-6

Rope anchorages, also referred to as rope attachments, are rope termination components used to secure the ends of steel wire ropes that carry the elevator car and counterweight in elevator suspension systems.
TMS Lift rope anchorages are asymmetric wedge socket rope terminations for Ø5–Ø6.5 mm ropes, available in non-spring, spiral steel spring, and polyurethane spring configurations. All required static and dynamic tests have been completed successfully in accordance with EN 13411-6.

Product Options and Features

Our rope anchorages (rope attachments) feature a welded, reinforced steel body and a compact design that makes installation easier in tight spaces.

HS Type 1 – Non-Spring Type

The non-spring type is used in applications where the installer prefers to use their own spring or where rope ends are connected without a spring. It is a suitable solution for systems requiring flexible configuration.

HS Type 2 – Spiral Steel Spring

The spiral steel spring rope attachment is manufactured from high-quality spring steel and is suitable for static and dynamic loading conditions. Under proper loading conditions, it does not undergo permanent deformation.

The spring surface is coated with cataphoretic (e-coating) coating, uniformly covering all areas. This coating method provides high corrosion resistance without adversely affecting the mechanical strength of the steel.

HS Type 3 – Polyurethane Spring

The polyurethane spring type offers a very quiet and comfortable springing characteristic. Compared to steel springs of similar size, it provides higher load capacity.

The spring element is manufactured from high-quality polyurethane, ensuring long service life.
